Amazing performances from Tom Cochrane, Barney Bentall, I Mother Earth, and Sam Roberts , an incredible Canadian soundtrack for the evening.
Great seeing so many NHL legends in the room , and asking some that I wish they were still Playing for the leafs , The hockey I loved watching . Seeing Dave Hodge, was great the voice many of us grew up listening to on Hockey Night in Canada. Hearing Glenn Healy’s pipers, which were absolutely amazing.

It was good getting to drive my car again that stays in Vegas been too long , and to look at my hockey bag again lol . There are moments in this business where you watch people you care about push through every brick wall in front of them to make something real. James McDougall, Derek Barnes, James Mark and Joel Labelle did exactly that with WHITE OUT. No studio safety net. No guaranteed spotlight. Just pure grit and a film that deserves way more eyeballs on it.
As filmmakers, we all know how tough it is to get our work out into the world. That’s exactly why I wanted to do my part to help shine a little more light on this one. I reached out to Will Jordan (The Critical Drinker), who I’m currently working with on bringing his bestselling Ryan Drake book series to film and TV. Will is known for calling it straight, even when it stings. So the fact he not only watched WHITE OUT but gave it a strong, thoughtful review says everything about the quality of the film.

Wrapping up Week Two!
