CCC’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Ensemble (directed by Athena Hiotis) performs a wide range of music from the rock genre ranging from the 1950’s to present. The ensemble is made up of both students and community members.

I never really thought about what goes into decisions at the College.
It’s just not something you experience day to day as a student.
But sitting in on a Board of Trustees meeting changed that for me.
There’s a lot more back and forth than I expected.
The President shares what’s happening, the Board asks questions, and together they help shape what comes next.
Afterward, I got to spend some time with the Chair and ask a few questions. It made me realize how much thought and discussion goes into decisions we usually only see the outcome of.
