1985 Ford Raptor DAY 22! Got a ton done today, and got some total excitement arriving with the Mickey Thompson’s, @us_wheel_corporation rat rods getting painted up, and @advanceadapters Atlas arriving 🤘 This atlas is beefed up with optional beef gears, and is rocking a 1410 rear flange / 1350 front flange. I have got to give @obs.solutions a huge thanks for coming through in the witching hour with a new dash pad, these are on national backorder!
Oh man. Taking a break from finishing the floor to mock up these MICKEYS 😍 Also got some awesome packages in from @obs.solutions with an off the menu new dash to save the day (they are back ordered everywhere!) and beautiful billet mirrors. Custom looming on the @edelbrockusa Pro-Flo 4 is done and it’s so nice. Looks the part perfectly. I’ll be showing off the @radesigns_products shifter more here coming up shortly. @advanceadapters Atlas came in today - absolute beef 🤘 a 3:1 ratio with the heavy duty optioned internals should be perfect for this truck. Norma Jeane the 1985 Ford Raptor DAY 21! Oh boy! Waiting on a few bigger parts, so knocking out the things I have been putting off. New floor pans are tedious and annoying but it’s part of the process. The drivers side luckily only needed a small patch. I am excited for the weekend 🤘🏻
1985 Raptor - DAY 20! Why not a Coyote / Godzilla swap? This is meant to be a throwback “what if” project with some choice modernization for absolute desert prowess. Absolutely no shade on the modern Ford engine offerings! I love them - but for a bomber drop in option these Ford heritage crates can’t be beat. Huge power, looks the part, and aftermarket support that’s designed around the platforms they go into. #fordperformance
1985 Ford Raptor CANT STOP WONT STOP. DELIRIOUS. Going to bite the bullet and weld in the passenger side floor tomorrow - really annoying but it will feel so good to have that over with. Another couple days on the cab finishing wiring, as well as some super fun days upcoming with stereo install and putting dash back together
1985 RAPTOR DAY 18! Worked a full day at the shop in town today, and entering delirious level exhaustion but the stoke has never been higher. Really great about dropping the rad support / engine bay brackets with @levi_reisinger_ for sand blasting tomorrow. Waiting on lots of parts, but plumbing brakes / fuel system on my top priorities. Jazzed for the slick fuel tank system from @kincerchassis 🤟🏻 Also have the passenger side floor pan to finish, and I am less stoked on that - so should definitely tackle it first. Veggies before dessert
1985 Ford Raptor project NORMA JEANE!! I now have a FUEL INJECTED 460 SBF. Swapped the @edelbrockusa Pro-Flo 4 “factory” 36lb injectors for 42lbs, this will keep that big small block happy while it is naturally aspirated. A little custom looming, and folks will really have to pay attention to not see an old school carbureted Windsor!
Day 16! Today was a family day all day - but some awesome stuff came in the mail! Can’t wait to setup this Pro-Flo 4 multi port kit. 3 wires!!! The Ford 460 BOSS block small block is ready and willing for extra punishment! So what should we do - supercharge it or twin turbskis?!

When I hear the words “Bullnose Ford” 🤔, the first truck that always comes to mind is the killer 2-tone dually built by @enriqueasmith . I fell in love with that truck years ago, and it ended up in the hands of a good buddy, Clint, out in AZ-
Then in 2024, Enrique introduced the world to a second badass build -an ’86 F350 Crew Cab SRW 🛠️- AND my Bullnose obsession only got worse. In August of 2024, Enrique shared a photo of both the ’86 DRW and the ’86 SRW together, and I reshared it immediately. Clint owned both trucks and drove this one all the way back to Arizona from Oregon in 2024. Since then, he’s used the hell out of it in Northern AZ, which says a lot about the quality of the build 💯. The truck has been properly shaken down over the last couple years and is still in remarkable shape-
I’d been hunting for the right Bullnose for a long time. Passed on a few good ones, missed out on a few others… but I truly think it worked out the way it was supposed to. Clint decided to pass this one on to me, and I couldn’t be more pumped — not only because he thought of me, but because I’ve had a serious crush on this rig since the second I first saw it 🤝-

I brought my 69’ Crewcab which sold to another friend in AZ not Clint. Clint just met me halfway and was doing a favor bringing the 69’ back to the buyer since his trailer was empty-

I got my Bullnose home and I am pumped on it. Nash Boy walked out and says “dang dad 😲!!! “ And then he proceeds to tell me what his plan$ for it are 🤦🏽♂️ ha! The kid is worse than me! More to come on the Bull, but first I know my OCD will get the best of me. Gotta knock some of the Grand Canyon off this thing 😂-
