Fall Quarter Rewind
Or actually, a little further back ⏪⏪⏪
Exactly a year (and a day) ago, I was in an accident that could have been fatal. Sometimes, I still can’t wrap my head around crawling from underneath that vehicle or from everything that followed. To me, that was the beginning of what I would have called a Murphy’s Law year.
But to be able to come back, and as a Junior, finally have my first full quarter at UCLA (I was here until the end of finals week!), working on a craft that I love, lightsaber fighting prof. Bill McDonald… school literally has no right being this fun.
A wise person once told me that Murphy’s law could only be believed to an extent; certain bad things may seem to happen at the worst times in moments of life, but it can’t be applied to someone’s life as a whole.
And they are so right. Because when luck runs out… when I’m not allowed to have audio on file, or when I have to sit in a sink, or when I have to use a wheelchair instead of a dolly (because TFT things), I’m grateful to be doing this with you all. I’m lucky for that.
Fall ‘22 was a good take. PRINT!
I told my cardiologist that I’m here for a good time and not for a long time then he told me to go get another echocardiogram❤️
