It is a great honor to be featured in the December issue of @voguescandinavia 🌹 This shoot was the last thing I did before my maternity leave and it reminds me of how life can be full of unexpected twists and turns. In a good way. Flowers have been my passion all my life. From my childhood selling flowers from my grandmothers garden to tourists by the road, to creating my own flower business as an adult, and having the privilege to collaberate and work with so many wonderful people along the way. Thank you all so very much to every customer I have had, allowing me to live this dream of mine. And thank you Vogue for this recognition.

To our dear customers. There have been a great deal of confusion among many of you about our store in Grüners gate and the store with same name in Markveien. There have also been spread disiniformation about our store in Grüners gate, told to us from several customers. Because of that we feel the need to clearify a few things.
Four years ago Carousel was a combination of two concepts: The concept of special fresh and dried flowers of high quality on one hand, combined with the concept of vintage lamps and other glass items on the other hand. Mixed with various vintage things from the both of us.
Together we formed the concept known as Carousel. One year ago, the other half of us moved out to a bigger store in Markveien to further build on their vintage interiour concept, as we stayed behind in Grüners gate 14 to fully focus even more on flowers, events, vintage gems and collaborations with artists. We have left the characteristic glass lamps behind, as not to interfere with their concept. As they should refrain from interfering with ours.
They kept the name Carousel, which is in their rights, but of course can be experienced as misleading by our customers as we are now two different stores, with the same name, but without any other connection.
Unfortunatly it has now come to our attention that this store, with the same name as ours, are actively misleading many of our customers in different ways. Several customers have told us that they have been informed that our store - Carousel in Grüners gate, is closed. Or that we have stopped selling flowers and only do workshops.
Apparently the store in Markveien are on and off selling flowers, even though the Carousel flower concept belongs in Grüners gate 14. The flower brand in the name of Carousel, that has been built up in years, by one uf us, belongs only at Carousel in Grüners gate 14. Others should not profit by selling flowers in the brand name that has been built up in years, and in the same breath misleading customers to believe that we are connected, or that our store is closed.
