Always super tardy to the posting party…on purpose, of course…(not really)😂
Some tiny • M O M E N T S • from my time with BET. It was certainly a ride and a valuable experience that will always be a memorable moment in time…
THE SLIDES:
• 1 • Yours Truly
• 2 • Meet & Greet: fun fact, I worked remotely the whole time so I never met most of my co-workers in person until this moment and it was very nice to finally meet them in the flesh! ‘Twas good times.
• 3 • Test shooting for our on-the-carpet Culture Cam with my creative-partner-in-crime.
• 4 • When you’re that close to Usher and can’t touch him coz you have to be professional, lol!😭 Also, it was hot as hell!
• 5 • On set working VERY hard, clearly. 😂
• 6 • Literally the two things that stands out in my mind the most of the plethora of stuffz I worked on. I’m proud of the work I was able to help create and the many pieces of content that came out of the past 12’ish months. Too many to count, let alone remember. 😮💨
• 7 • Oh look, I know that name! Thank goodness it was spelled correctly, haha! 😂
On to the next! ✨🖤✨
Here’s a little blast from the not-so-distant past (even though it feels like forever ago, lol) when I designed/prop-styled some LEGO fruits for a BuzzFeed Tasty project.
I also consulted on the stop-motion execution and directed all the stop-motion animation shots for this piece.
During the shoot, a few people dropped by the prop table to marvel at the LEGO fruits and everyone who came by all asked if I used a pre-designed kit to make the fruits and the answer was and still is “no”.
All of them were made from scratch and all the parts were sourced by yours truly. The only thing I used kits for was for certain pieces I wasn’t able to source in large quantities, along with the pieces I used for the strawberry stems.
I had two weeks of pre-production and spent about a week of that just building the fruits and by the end of it, my fingertips were so super, super tender.
And even though they were made of LEGO, the fruits looked so juicy and delicious and left me wanting to take a bite each time I saw them, haha.
Needless to say, this is definitely one of my favorite projects to date because it combined two things I’ve always loved: LEGO and stop-motion animation. It also gave a me a really good challenge and I enjoyed every minute of it. 😎
Enjoy!
A 360 of a miniature post-apocalyptic setting that I’m casually building between projects.
It’s a personal project that I’m using as sort of an “exercise” if you will, in my down time that I’d like to eventually use as a backdrop for some kind of stop-motion fictional series.
I was going to build out a hallway for this set, but I think I’m going to skip it for now and begin another piece to start adding to this miniature post world.
I’m between a gas station/convenient store or a laundromat — which one do you think I should tackle first? 🤔

I’m honored to share that Crafting Crimes, an immersive VR experience featuring my miniature-based recreations of real-world environments, has received a Webby Award for Best VR Headset Experience.
This project represents a continuation of a practice I’ve been developing for years—working with miniatures as a visual and narrative language to reconstruct space, narrative and interpretation.
What began as physical recreations of real environments in miniature form has evolved into an immersive experience where audiences/users actively construct each environment like a puzzle while narration guides the unfolding context.
The medium has shifted, but the core intention remains: building spatial narratives that invite deeper ways of seeing.
Shout out to my collaborators at TARGO for their vision and precision throughout the process. This work exists because of a shared language between craft, technology, and storytelling.
It’s encouraging to see miniature-based methodologies expand into new forms of immersive storytelling, and I’m excited for what this direction continues to unlock.
Thank you to the Webby Awards for the recognition—and to everyone who has supported the evolution of this work.

In the spring/summer of 2025, I collaborated with TARGO, a filmmaking/immersive storytelling production team on "Crafting Crimes", a Meta Quest VR experience which brings a few of my miniatures that covered real-life cases to a 3D virtual space, where you learn about their dark history through a combination of interactivity and observation.
Not only was episode 3 of “Crafting Crimes” announced at this year's SXSW, but is now available for Quest headsets at the Meta Horizon Store, along with the very super cool “Explore Mode” both ready to be experienced within the app!
In this mode, you’re able to enter the miniatures and explore them somewhat ‘life-sized’.
And, not knowing what to expect, when I first experienced the explore mode, it was so wild and bizarre to me to be inside my models, and given their dark history, it was admittedly a little spooky and a bit freaky, initially. 🫣 The production team did such a remarkable job translating my pieces into a 3D virtual environment, capturing all the details and the tone of the spaces phenomenally; truly elevating a way to experience them.
If you’re into VR and have access to a Meta headset, be sure to check out, “Crafting Crimes” for a truly unique storytelling experience featuring my minis and produced by the extremely talented immersive storytelling team at @targostories .
If you get a chance to experience this, I would love to hear your thoughts!

Dear Creatives,
If it’s your true calling, it’ll shout...
It doesn’t matter how many followers you have or ‘likes’ you get on the work that you’re doing right now because the work that we feel compelled to produce as creatives is a duty much bigger than us, and may not even be for an existing audience or recipient.
Some of us are well beyond our time and may not make much sense to most people today, yet might make perfect sense to a majority of people long after our lifetime.
In the same way that you might have discovered something crafted by someone who no longer walks this earth yet have inspired you with their work, is the same way your work might serve someone else of the future.
So, do your work, and leave behind your legacy because someone somewhere at some point in time needs you to. 😎
.
I included some throwback ‘THOUGHTS’ clips from various points in time that in this point in time I personally needed to remind myself of.
Perhaps you need them, too—perhaps not. Either way—enjoy. 😉

Build this scene with me in a VR miniature experience!
Episode 2 of “Crafting Crimes: The Wonderland Murders”, is available now for Quest headsets at the Meta Horizon Store.
Shoutout to the super talented, immersive filmmaking/storytelling production team at @targostories for taking interest in my work and expanding the ckraftz to a whole new level. Everyone was so great to work with and I couldn’t be more pleased with how they translated my physical, handcrafted miniature pieces into this 3D virtual environment.
If you get a chance to experience this, I would love to hear your thoughts!

Ok, Japan— I’ve fallen for you…now, when will I see you again? Literally ready to go back, lol.🤭🤔🗓️
Some moments from a little Japan-hopping and quick skip over to South Korea ventures.
If Japan is on your list of places to visit, do it. Just be sure to bring some good walking shoes and an empty luggage.😭
Enjoy!
