I make folk and pop but I don’t know… this has gotta be THE TYPE OF FOLK i always wanted and will always want to make. The studio version is IT, I’m obsessed. I just felt sooooo incredibly happy singing this one.

Leaking my own unreleased song from the album: Till We Know What Love Is.
This one might be my top pick from the album (I love all the songs but hear me out) it’s a very Caroline core song… basically a not so hopeless romantic. From the theme to the melody to the lyrics to the production, everything is very me. I truly believe that as a human we are here to love. To give love, to receive love and to share love. So you can quote me now, and it’s the chorus, we don’t know what life is, till we know what love is. (And how many times should I repeat myself it’s not just about romantic love ahhhh).

Dropping this single 空负貌如花（棒打薄情郎）（OK OK it means A beauty betrayed takes revenge on her faithless lover）on the last day of this month!!! The first Chinese song I've ever written. And it's my first Chinese song release! Finally pulling that trigger omg and IT FEELS GREAT! The genre is a niche (but popular in China) one called Guofeng or 国风 in Chinese. I was able to recreate the song with an amazing producer/singer/songwriter from China. The crazy serendipity is that our birthdays are only 1 day apart. It was meant to be. Pre save it if you want to hear some really different tunes!
Not Even Kidding is my first big project and it’s been quite a journey making this EP. As I said before I wanted to tell my own story and these 7 songs are a great way to look into myself. Released yesterday on my birthday as a grand ending chapter of my past 26 years. Always wanted to make some folk songs and I did it. Being a songwriter is such a blessing and I believe by expressing myself I can have a positive influence on my listeners. Hope you enjoy my work. It means a lot to me if you go and stream my songs.
