Had a great audition trip to Boston this weekend. Saw Boston Ballet perform two substantial works.
Jorma Eli’s Right of Spring and Crystal Pite’s The Seasons Canon. @bostonballet
And then yesterday observed Boston Ballet 2nd co work with Finnish National Ballet’s 2nd co working with Jodi Gates on a restaging of a beautiful work of hers.
And along the way caught up with a few dear friends too!
Now back to Kansas City to open our Kansas City Ballet exciting mixed rep on Friday! Come see it if you can. It will include Rodeo, Stars & Stripes and a spectacular world premiere by the rising choreographic star, Caili Quan. @kc.ballet

It’s 15 minutes until the Contemporary Ballet Program of the School of Jacob's Pillow starts their performance on the Henry J. Leir stage! They have worked so hard to get to this moment. Wishing them all the best. It’s all in their hands now. 💐🥳👏🙏💪🏼
They are doing new works by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Durante Verzola, a few classical variations, a work that they self created and several other short works. Very exciting to see this all finally be performed!!! 👍
Wow! Here at the Kennedy Center to see Royal Birmingham Ballet perform. They are doing a production to the music of Black Sabbath. It is partially orchestrated as well as a guitarist on stage. Can’t wait to see this!!!
Had a truly wonderful time teaching ballet class today for an exceptional group of Joffrey Ballet Studio Company, Joffrey Ballet Trainees and the Joffrey Ballet Contemporary dance program. Such great talent and promise for the next generation of dancers making their way into the professional world. Bravi to them all 👏 and thank you 🙏. 🤩💐📸👏🤩💐👏📸🤩
