COLDHARBOUR LIGHTS @coldharbour_lights Founded by former theatrical performer and spatial designer Lottie Davies, Coldharbour Lights creates original feather lampshades handcrafted in their London studio. Inspired by the elegant lines of the Art Deco period and rooted in theatre, each piece is made to order with meticulous attention to detail, making every shade entirely unique. Sustainability sits at the heart of the practice, with most materials sourced and produced in the UK wherever possible. The feathers are carefully bleached and hand-dyed in Britain, using by-products from farmed poultry and common game birds. For Artists’ Open House, Lottie will be showing her unique feather lampshades - sustainable, local and decadent! - alongside free feather samples for visitors to take home. She will also be hosting a FREE drop-in workshop on Saturday 16th May from 2–4pm, where visitors of all ages can make a feathery tickling stick to keep.
