Let's give a big welcome to our newest Outlaw, Fig! We found her in the parking lot, slapped a guitar in her hands, and thankfully she had some stories to tell...
Thank you to @charade_speakeasy for having us back again!

I’d say something about this post being late, but everybody in this show knows damn well that being late isn’t exactly a rarity for me.
Musical Theatre has always been one of my greatest passions. Any time I can, you WILL find me singing. I was hoping to study musical theatre somewhere as part of my degree, but UO had so much that I wanted, so it just wasn’t meant to be. One of the reasons I chose UO at all was actually because of the Pocket Playhouse. So it feels fitting that my final college performance was with this wonderful theatre company, and also fitting that my last role was the role of Musical Theatre.
I consider myself extremely lucky to have worked on my last college show with such an amazing cast: Pocket triple-threat nominee Ivy Shankle as a despicably charismatic host, the wonderful Elyssa Gutman - who I was so excited to finally work with after finding each other at so many auditions and callbacks, Button Award-winners and also two of the funniest people on Earth - Carina Bellendaine and Emily Adams, physical comedy LEGEND - and the best person to scream cartoon songs in the car with - Cara McIntyre, my GORGEOUS and brilliant creative writing buddy Bella Medina, my favorite deadpan diva and eyeshadow queen Ray Cyphers, the only frat boy ever and the girl I can’t wait to run into on the red carpet Anie Heffernan, the best backstage babes in black to drag me right offstage - Nex Wilson and Raleigh Walter, and of course my beloved younger theatre siblings Chase Powers and Dusty Stratton who know EXACTLY what they mean to me. Thanks for everything you guys!
Not to mention such excellent direction from my friend Annaliese Johnson and god’s most patient stage manager Ted Martin. Plus the most fun props (and title card switching) thanks to Oliver Twitchell, and the most STUNNING costumes and lighting from our Button Award-winning designers Emma-Jade Bui and Pippa Frey.
My very first college show was a musical, and my very last college role was playing Musical Theatre herself. I’ll miss her, but I think I’ll see her again real soon.
See y’all at the stage door. 🫶🏻
