I’ve been taking my time to finish rolls and develop my film slowly. Some shots from a while back, strolling through Horrocks with George. 📸 Samsung Fino 105S 🎞️ Fujifilm 200

Japan street views 🇯🇵 Yesterday we walked 26,000 steps, which is 18.2km. I had sashimi for dinner and drank a lot of Matcha.

A Superb Fairy Wren 🧚‍♂️ “The superb fairywren is a passerine bird in the Australasian wren family, Maluridae, and is common and familiar across south-eastern Australia. It is a sedentary and territorial species, also exhibiting a high degree of sexual dimorphism; the male in breeding plumage has a striking bright blue forehead, ear coverts, mantle, and tail, with a black mask and black or dark blue throat.” He also looks a bit angry in the last pic, but I’m sure he was extremely content in the rain 💫

The Bassian Thrush “A secretive, mottled brown songbird, known for foraging on the ground for insects in leaf litter. They are resident, shy, and characterized by their scalloped black markings, white eye-ring, and beautiful, fluty song often heard at dawn or dusk” Apparently considered an uncommon resident in Southern Tasmania, so I’m feeling pretty blessed today ✨ this little fella was anything but shy, coming up close - not bothered by me one bit, allowing me to take many shots.
