Five days at TIFF! I asked 84 questions, carried 21 Jenga blocks through customs, said “testing” 1 million times and had at least one King St. musical crash-out with my favorite superstar @mayaapow .
In the words of the photo GOAT @ilanaschweberkaplan , “TIFF is a marathon *and* a sprint.” She also said, “Carly, you really could have packed more comfortable shoes.” As usual, she’s right on both fronts.
All of it was surreal, but the best part was the masterclass I got eavesdropping on interviews done by @benjamin_vanhoose@nigelmfs@ericmichaelandy & @andreagm — who are not only brilliant journalists but generous, encouraging and really, really fun hangs. I love @tiff_net . I love movies!!! And I love getting to work with the @people people who tell you all about them. 🎥✨🇨🇦🤍
