2025 was a big, huge year. A year building on the strength of our family and a year of explosive personal growth. Rory started the year off as a babyā learning to walk and turning one on Valentineās Dayā and has turned into a joyful, exuberant toddler full of personality. Jack, our little mayor, learned to ride a bike with no training wheels the week after turning four and has been full speed ahead ever since. Mike and I continue to lead our boys (āsame team!ā) and find time for each other in the ever growing chaos of trying to raise good humans in a complicated world.
It was a year packed with highlights. In 2025, I continued to make sourdough and needlepoint and read and worked out. I signed up for an adult tap class and fell back in love with dancingā rediscovering a childhood passion of mine and making new friends along the way. I also learned how to play mahjong and I instantly fell in love with the game, creating order out of chaos; most importantly, connecting with women who I will be friends with for a lifetime. I started taking an SSRI and went back to therapy. We traveled when we couldā down the shore, upstate New York, Nantucket, Connecticut, Chicago, Tampaā with each other, on solo trips, and with lots of friends. Work was good to me in 2025 with dream partnerships with brands I have been dying to work with, a holiday clothing collaboration, and continued work with brands I trust and love. As AI slop takes over the influencer space and attention is more divided and distracted with every passing secondā I have never, ever been more grateful for the authentic connection I have with YOU.

The kids are asleep and thereās some sort of sporting event on tv downstairs⦠guess I have to spend the evening alone. Bummer š hair mask, face mask, cozy PJs, needlepoint, and a sweet treat.
If I like it, Iāll just buy it in a different color. šš Comment āfourā and Iāll send you links to everything.
When I find a silhouette I genuinely love and reach for constantly, Iād honestly rather invest in another color than keep searching for something new.
Exhibit A: these @jcrew smocked midi dresses. I was trying to decide between the gorgeous chartreuse (which feels like the color of the season) and the navy, which is predictably the one I would normally gravitate toward. I couldnāt decide⦠so I got both.
Exhibit B: the @tuckernuck Riley cardigan. (Iāll refrain from sharing how many colors I own at this point.)
Same dress. Same cardigan style. Four different looks.
Iām 36. I have two little kids. Iām trying to stay relevant (or at least avoid irrelevance⦠which feels like an important distinction, lol). I try not to doomscroll. I try not to compare. Iām 36, remember... I *should* know better.I loved doing this because it made me appreciate the little moments that are actually quite big.
Itās not just dinner: itās quality time with girlfriends, plans that actually made it out of the group chat.
Itās not just mahjong: itās a couple of hours sweeping out the corners of my brain while giggling over gossip and snacks.
Itās not just the pool: itās my mom with my two babies in the warm sunshine.
Itās not just the treadmill: itās reading my friendās debut novel (@chassity.evans !!!) while taking care of my body.
Itās not just the carousel: itās watching my boys develop the sweetest brotherly relationship.
Itās not just a desk: itās a job I love that truly fulfills me.
What I see is a very happy little life š
