Amidst this pandemic, safety is always my number one priority. Clearly. Fingers crossed we’ll be out of this by the time I’m 24, but for 23, this’ll have to do. Stay safe over Turkey Day, friends!

No Halloween pictures for you (spent it in lockdown watching horror movies, wasn’t bad lol), so instead I offer a Día de los Muertos post as a peace offering. Here’s to those that wait for us 🧡
(Sorry for length) I was this close to posting some goofy grad pics, but instead, I now have something far more important on my mind. I’ll be as candid as I can possibly be - quite the change from my usual demeanor on here - so apologies for the occasional bluntness.
I’m guessing these past couple of months haven’t been easy for anyone, and I sincerely hope each and every one of you are doing okay out there. I mean that. For me, this year, for better or for worse, for its ups and downs, has been gonzo. The highs have been interesting and have brought great joy, and the lows have brought varying degrees of devastation, although it hasn’t kept me down yet.
Unfortunately, this year has now delivered a coup de grâce that won’t soon be topped. To make a prolonged story brief, a little past midnight I had to say goodbye to my best friend of fifteen years, and nothing will ever be okay again.
Some graduation day, eh?
I know. I hate these kinds of posts too, and I’m trying, albeit struggling, to keep my bullshit to a minimum. I promise you, I write this not to elicit sympathy, and especially not to garner “likes,” but merely to get it definitively out there, for I doubt my capability to break this news to individuals time and time again - this method is much more economical, and far less distressing. That’s the sole reason for my return here. As my single goal is now accomplished, feel free to keep scrolling if you so wish. I won’t hold it against you, my friend.
However, on the off chance that the thought of reaching out or saying something is flashing through your mind to no end, please bear in mind the following. I would genuinely love to hear from you, no matter who you are, to know how you’re doing and to catch up during these difficult times for us all. The distraction would be greatly appreciated, and knowing that you’re doing okay would bring me some degree of comfort. But I beg of you, the one thing I really do not want to hear above all is “I’m sorry.” Please.
I may not be back here for some time... Again. Hope you all keep hanging in there. Thanks for your understanding.
I love you, Spot. Now and forever.
