Join us for our annual Mother’s Day perfume making workshop, where you will discover over 50 botanical scents sourced from around the world, and with guidance blend them into your very own custom perfume.
You will leave with two completely unique scents, an organic cotton gift bag and a letterpress card with each of your scent recipes on it.
Bring mom, make a scent for mom or be held in a nurturing space to honor Mother’s Day in your own way.

I added almost 100 “Tama Musubi = French knot”that night! ( the second image) We have one more event this Thursday from 4:30 l and my good friend @michiru._.kagawa are going to have two artist talk!

@michiru._.kagawa is a nonbinary artist and fashion designer, their brand @ikiiki.creative mission is create a space where sustainable fashion meets artistic expression, which echos with Japanese philosophy of "mottainai = do not wast, use everything" which mai ide center around her practice. It will be exciting space for us to know two Portland Japanese American creatives talk!

Up first this Friday, @kofalencenter will host a special fundraising evening complete with food, drink, and presentations from Cargo favorite artist @babawaguediakite 🤍 If you can’t make it to the fundraiser, stop by Cargo through the end of the month to see their new line of Mudcloths on display.
Then on Saturday, join our current freight elevator artist @maiidepdx for a Sashiko workshop and mending café. Attend one or both! Not free on Saturday? She will also be hosting a workshop and mending café on April 25th.
And finally, on April 18th join @julzclementine and @starflowerpdx for a workshop made for spring time. With guidance, you will arrange your own floral bouquet and paint the ceramic vase that it goes in.
