Cooper checking in with an important message for the CVLT 🌀 As our upcoming tour approaches and excitement is building, I want to give you all a heads up that I unfortunately won’t be bringing the riffs this time around, and my long-time pal @mikeylunz (@enoxband & @visenyaband ) will be stepping in to slay live guitar duties for our upcoming tour with @uponaburningbody . This wasn’t an easy decision to make, but a necessary one as I returned home from our SOTS tour last fall to find my 12-year-old best pal (and unofficial Carcosa mascot) Bear, suffering from an unknown illness that turned out to be an aggressive and untreatable form of pancreatic cancer. An extremely challenging illness that requires urgent daily care, it’s unfortunately not possible to manage at all whilst on the road and I will be staying back for this one. If you’re coming out to one of these shows, make sure to give some extra headbangs for us 💛 Shout out to our boy Mikey for stepping up, an absolute all-star guitarist and an even better person wth undeniable aura on stage, go say hey and bring him a Buzzball at one of the dates on this run, he’s going to kill it.
