La mia famiglia italiana 🥹 Leonardo and I went from 22/6 years old to 32/16 years old! So crazy this was already 10 years ago. Being the youngest kid in my family, this is the first time I’ve experienced that “wow how did you get so big!!?” feeling ❤️🩹
Two weeks ago, we said goodbye to our little girl Tux. In the start of the new year, we found out she had oral squamous cell carcinoma in her lower mandible. It was too advanced for any intervention, so we took a palliative approach. She did so good and we made sure she was comfortable.

Tux loved her scratching post, meowing in the halls early in the morning, nose pets, and lil soups. She was just a few months shy of her 14th birthday. I adopted Tux after I was discharged from the hospital in 2010, so it’s only fitting that I took care of her in her final months like she took care of me when I was sick. To some, she’s “just a cat,” but she meant so much to me 🥺💔

Sorry this is like a diary entry, but now that Tux and Neeshi are both gone, it feels like the end of an era. I feel so lucky to have had those two cats. #thelastgoodcat
