Capturing the Awesome

Today was my 30 year highschool reunion. I went to the most notorious of private boys schools, Churchie. Where I suffered immensely from bullying and torment. I decided to return to the school for the first time since 1995 to help with closure and more importantly a big FUCK YOU by showing up and turning out! Let me tell you, it helped. I did speak to some of the others who remembered me. One was a really great friend I had not thought of since I left school. Reminded me of some of the good times trauma had caused me to forget. One interesting fact was the staff member from the school telling me of another trans "oldboy" like me but from 1982. That was the biggest eye-opener. Can I just tell everyone, I nearly bailed at the start, and my daughter gave me a big hug to say it was ok, I cried, then laughed as my wife nopped out of the toilets hahaha. Also, she is the best most supportive person on the planet (even if she was having trauma fuelled high school flashbacks). #churchie #classof1995 #churchieoldboys
