Did you know you can cut down your own Christmas tree in the @whitemountains National Forest for just $5? ⬇️ This permit allows you to cut a Christmas Tree within designated areas of the National Forest! 🎄 You can easily buy one online, it will give you all of the guidelines. We stopped into one of the ranger stations and they gave us a recommendation just off the side of the Kancamagus Highway. Best of all this is HEALTHY for the forest because the floor can become extremely overgrown in areas. This allows for no new growth, removes sunlight, water and nutrients from other vegetation and wildlife in the forest. ✅ Search White Mountain National Forest Christmas Tree Permit and you can find all the info you need to know! Save this for later! @labriemedia

It FINALLY happened! 🌨️❄️ Yesterday was the first major snow storm in Portsmouth in almost a year and I think for most, it was welcomed! I love seeing the city as quiet and still as it is on a snow day. Who else went out yesterday?

GOODBYE WINTER! 🫡 Yes I know, it’s May. I’ve been waiting to post this until I know it’s completely safe to say it… and this winter, not taking any chances. Photographed some unbelievable houses on the Seacoast this past winter for agents from all of our local brokerages. 🏠 Photo #1 is from an $8,000,000 farm…. More on that later! ON TO SPRING! 🍃 @labriemedia

43 years! This past weekend the Fox Run Mall closed its doors for the very last time. The 82-acre shopping center is currently undergoing a massive redevelopment into a new project called Seacoast Landing, with demolition of the original structure scheduled to begin in March. Estimated demo cost is estimated at $500 million. My personal favorite @fiddleheadfarms also closed last night after 20+ years. It’s tough to see so many of our local staples being closed the last year or two… honestly, it sucks. It feels like we’re losing so many of our local family owned options lately. People that have always put our communities first. A great reminder how important it is, now more than ever to support our local grocery stores, shops, restaurants and family owned stores. Thanks for the childhood memories @mallatfoxrun 🦊

On January 31st the town of Rye will vote to install paid parking along Route 1A (a state owned road) where most free parking will be removed. Remember when you were a teenager that just wanted to go to the beach to hang out with your friends in the summer? The cost of gas alone was a deciding factor on whether or not you all had enough money to go. Rye has several state parks that already require paid parking, while they provide access to 43% of the NH coastline. Out of town tourists won’t blink at $15 a day. Our local kids, grandkids and future generations will be the ones impacted the most. We’ve added almost 3,000 signatures to the petition in the past week, it takes 30 seconds and costs nothing. Link is in my bio. KEEP OUR BEACHES FREE.

SAVE RYE BEACHES. As most of you know, Rye is pushing a $15/day paid parking fee along Route 1A, a state-owned road to restrict access to our beaches. Out of state vacationers won’t care about $15, as usual it will only hurt locals just trying to enjoy the state we already pay taxes to. Rye covers 43% of NH’s coastline, and this would wipe out most of the free public parking spots. This is just the beginning. The vote’s coming up at the end of the month. We’re at ~6,500 signatures on the petition and aiming for 10,000. If you want to keep Rye beaches free and open, take a second to sign it. Link in my bio: / I’ll be posting the best of Rye all month to keep the awareness going. Let’s make this happen! 🤝
