Yellow Wagtail 💛
I was sitting lakeside at one of my favourite spots when this beautiful Yellow Wagtail landed just a few feet away on the water’s edge. Almost frozen in place myself, I moved as slowly as possible so I wouldn’t disturb it while capturing a few shots 🤫📸
It even treated itself to a full bath in the water too, though those photos will be shared another time. Let’s just say I found it very difficult to take my finger off the shutter button, and I now have a lot of photos to work through 📸😅
This was the first Yellow Wagtail I’ve ever seen, let alone photographed, making the experience even more special. Without a doubt, it’s been one of the highlights of my 2026 so far 🥰💛🫶🏻
