Pardo 43. We’ve done it again with another purchase and sale of a head turning day boat, but this time we’ve done a deal in San Diego. Easily the most head turning boat in California to date - the sleek profile results in cell phones photographing you everywhere you go. The power, speed and efficiency of the boat makes getting somewhere in a hurry seamless but the bow seating and al fresco dining setup just aft of the console offers unique versatility. The details of the leather, the interior fabrics and pop up cleats constantly amaze us. The center wet bar setup houses refrigeration, an ice maker and storage to keep the party going as long as your guests can enjoy the sun. The cabin configuration with a queen size bed forward + two twins aft + day head make overnights manageable as well. The only critiques we can ever have is that the dark hull color and synthetic teak decks can get real darn hot, making your feet move quickly and to have the air conditioning system or wax team work fast and hard. There’s what we consider a surplus of Pardo 43’s on the market which has created a major buyer’s market and we’re monitoring how this impacts the brands reputation and resale value into the future. Sick experience tagging along with the chase team for @cdmyachts during the Baja 1000. The only thing I can compare it to is being at sea—there’s always something that goes wrong, whether it’s engine issues, losing nav equipment , dealing with a fuel leak. You just have to make it work with whatever and whoever you’ve got out there. But this was that on a whole new level—Injuries, bike problems, stranded riders in the middle of the night, freezing windy desert, pit stops, tire changes, taking over sections … it takes some serious problem-solving skills, planning and just pure grit to get a bike to the finish of this race… throw in the physical grind and mental strength to not quit.. super impressed🏁 🫡
