Introducing a (kinda) new project, that you'll be able to see pop up at conventions around Australia in the near future: At conventions, I'll be adding the De/Re: Stash to my Cosplay Repair area! Essentially it'll be a dedicated tub that I'll transport between conventions. People are encouraged to drop off any excess, unwanted supplies and materials from their craft stashes. Everyone is also encouraged to look through the stash and take any materials that could be used for their own projects at home! For its first con, I'll have the De/Re: Stash at the Cosplay Repair area at PAX Aus! You can find this at the Cosplay Lounge, L2 in the Plenary! Aaaaand this is the last of my Renfair post spam! Here's an info dump of everything! I heard you liked trinkets?! The last couple days, I've been doing my own little con crunching, by making a hundred or so wax seals from scratch and decorating them into little badges for @melbourne_renfair ! Think of them as the old-timey version of badge ribbons! New Cosrep fit?! (Look, technically the bench is doing the heavy lifting here) For @melbourne_renfair this weekend, I've been slowly working away in the background on a brand new Cosplay Repair booth!! Sourced from an old salvaged bar, I've done some cheeky dismantling and reconstuction to make everything fold and pack down flat, making the whole setup easy enough to throw in the back of my car for transportation (and store away afterwards!) I've changed up the De/Re: Stash to match the vibe, and made sure to carry plenty of leatherworking tools and supplies! After a few weeks break, it's going to be back-to-back events for a few weeks in a row! Kicking off this weekend, I'll be at @animayhem_aus and looking after the Cosplay Repair area! I'll be teaming up with @cosplaymarket.au at the repair booth and excited to see the friendly Brisbane faces again after so long!
