My goal for 2025 was to travel every month. While I didn’t exactly hit that goal, I went to more than 12 places, so… math?
January - New York City
February - Catalina Island
March - Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hakone
April - Ohio
May - Seattle
June - Las Vegas
July - Party at my place!!!
August - Vancouver
September - London
October - Amsterdam, Paris, Munich
November - Denver, Orlando
December - Charlotte, Sarasota
I feel very lucky not only to have the ability to travel so frequently, but more than that, to have friends who will go out of their way to welcome me when I visit - or in
@many.trees case, be my travel buddy all over the world.
In retrospect, I originally set this goal because I felt the need to run away - to get out of my head, literally and figuratively, after a very difficult 2024. However, throughout my travels I learned that, as the cliche goes, it turns out that it’s not where but who youre with that really matters. This year has been one of immense growth, progress, and enjoyment for me, and has given me an immense amount of clarity into who I am, what I care about, and who I want to be - and so much of that is due to the amazing people around me. So, thank you to all my friends who supported me this year, adventured with me, and ultimately made 2025 one of the best years I’ve spent on this planet.
I do have new goals for 2026, but I’ll keep those close to the chest for now.
All this being said, I might just make traveling, adventuring, and hosting less of a 1 year goal and more of a recurring theme. 😎
