Moon Twins opens tomorrow night🥰 its taken a lot of work, but the best kind of work getting ready for this. Everyone has been working so hard since January to get here. And its truly the most perfect bunch of talented weirdos i could ever have hoped to bring together. This story is one of my favorites ive written and seeing it acted by these folks is heart swelling. Aubrey Thompson did such such an incredible job writting the music and Bertos choreography is perfect.

I cant tell you how excited i am to share this new project with all of you. I wrote it during the pandemic and didnt know if live theater would ever come back.
@theglitterboxtheater which i cofounded with a couple friends in 2017 shut down during the pandemic and now it reopened in West Homestead with an amazing new team of folks running it. The space is huge and is perfect for this new musical which is set in Renaissance Florence, The Moon and Pans Forest.
All the pieces fell into place for this @stpierre412 is building the set, @pennysmasher made this beautiful magical poster and the cast is insanely fun and brilliant.
@boujey_trash and @kaitkultur are Mona and Lisa who challenge societal norms and the patriarchy and @naadeau brings to life an incredibly charming Leonardo Da Vinci
@oddzerozero and @pghcrybaby play twins Diana and Apollo and and the list of delightful cuties goes on.
Its tender and absurd, a whimsical journey into the past and future.
Its been so fun to have Berto onboard who is doing Choreography.

Okay 2016. Nothings changed and everything’s changed. I finally did the renaissance haircut of my dreams. I made a DIY movie with friends and we put on “Meow” the musical i wrote about the stages of grief when my cat Spuntini disappeared for 17 days.
Thomas is amazing is a member of the band and took on the big exciting and challenging role of composing the “Forest Mini Opera” which is one of my favorite scenes in the show. An opera in the middle of the musical. 🧚🧚♀️🧚♂️stay tuned for #moontwinsthemusical coming in April to @theglitterboxtheater
2025 on a large scale was a nightmare, but i survived it by focusing on family, deep breathing, adventure, and creative collaborations. It was also a great year for the film industry in Pittsburgh and i feel grateful for getting so much work. In 2026 im hoping to spend even more time with loved ones and finally write a one woman show.

Heaven just got real lucky with the new arrival of Henry.
If you knew Henry, you loved Henry. He truly was perfect. So chill, so cool, so go with the flow. His patience with everything was admirable. He lived such a long life full of river dips, canoe trips, road trips and strolls.
We will love Henry forever and ever.
