📻 Turn on the radio ! 📻 "This is Art Simmons speaking, thanks for tuning in." I am very happy to introduce to you my newest DnD character, Seth Calloway ! He was created for "Silence Radio", a campaign made by the awesome @luposlipaphobya , and will play alongside @the_nothing_maker , @alia_drawz and @d_cybele PCs (you will probably see more of them here soon!) I have hidden little references to their characters in the illustration.🎙️I'm quite happy with the result, as I forced myself to step out of my comfort zone to achieve it ! I hope you will like it as well 💙 Seth is an artificer tiefling, with the composer homebrew subclass. He's a saxophone player (bass saxophone), and most importantly, a broadcaster for the pirate radio "Silence Radio". His show is dedicated to jazz, from swing to big band, and many more of its forms. 🎷 Smooth talker, handsome charmer, insufferable liar or egocentric jerk... Seth is used to be called names - one of them being "Art Simmons", the pseudonym he uses when broadcasting his show. Why would he hide his identity, you ask ? ☄️2025 Art Summary☄️ A bit late as always, but officially wrapping up 2025 with the yearly tradition! Ladies and gents, what a year!! 2025 has been very intense for me, but in the right sort of way. I attended no less than 4 cons, took part in 2 zines and worked on my first published cover ! This represents a huge step for me, as I can finally see my goal of being a professional artist getting more concrete. Honestly, I could never have dreamt of such opportunities, and it still feels surreal! Thank you again for all your support 💙 2026 is quite a special year too, as it marks the 10th year of me posting online, woohoo! My objectives are to take it slower this year. 2025 was great, but the last monthes were hard, and I think I deserve a break! I will table at 1 con only, and plan to take the time to work on my stories, and hopefully on a zine, that I'd like to release in 2027. My other personal objectives include to learn new piano sheets, travel more, and try to practice my drawing basics. 2025 was also full of DnD sessions, and I can only hope 2026 will be the same!! 👀✨ This year I was also able to meet many of you, and made incredible friends along the way, which I'm forever grateful for. But most importantly, 2025 was the year where I finally found a sense of belonging. To you who supported me, who sent me kind words and good advices, who pushed me to action, who joked with me, who helped me deal with my struggles, who recommended me cool podcasts, video games or movies, who invited me to go out, who tabled with me at a con, who spent time with me, created with me... You will recognise yourself, I hope! You gave me incredible strength this year, and I think I'm becoming a better person, thanks to you. 🍀 Cat's luck 🍀 Woops looks like I haven't posted in a while! I've been working on quite a few things lately, which includes my latest addition to my critters collection: a new DnD character, Malheur ! This is a character I created for my friends' campaign, @not.shayxy and @mikalemoney ! My first Tabaxi ever hehe Mahler is a chaotic and cunning fighter, that slices through obstacles thanks to his wits and his double swords (which are actually the two halves of a hedge trimmer). He has been nicknamed Malheur by townfolks, because of his reputation of bringing desmay, and mostly because of local superstitions. It slowly became the name he got used to go by. He's pretty obsessed with luck, and collects clovers and lucky tokens as a sort of way to counter his fate. ☘️ I hope you'll like him ! Lem is a french artist based in Paris. Fascinated by art and literature, her studies led her to work in the publishing industry, with a specialization in children books and graphic novels.
