With @droga_and_brmha we’re working to create music that brings out our culture through sounds, energy and moments that exist in real places and real celebrations.
The video was shot during a rare village festival called SAMRALU, which takes place only once every 50 years in Besi Ramchandra Puram, a small village near the eastern coast of Andhra Pradesh, India.
For 10 days the entire village comes alive every evening with celebrations, rituals and gatherings, ending with a powerful procession of their village Goddess Amavaru.
We were lucky to witness and capture a small part of that energy.
