On May 5th, we visited @foundrydowntown where two exhibitions were presented across the space: SUPERMARKET and The Continuum of Light by Solimar Miller.
The first works featured here are from SUPERMARKET, a group exhibition bringing together affordable works by over 30 independent UAE based artists, presented within a format designed to make art collecting more accessible to a wider audience. These pieces reflect the range of artistic voices and perspectives brought together within the space. Followed by The Continuum of Light, which unfolds through mixed media works and paintings expressed as reflections of homeland, culture, and civilization, where each piece holds its own quiet presence within a wider continuum.
A reminder of how art, much like light, creates moments of pause, reflection, and connection in unexpected ways.

This afternoon at Capsule Arts, we welcomed The Lost Gallery into our space, and thank them for giving us a moment in our day for discovery, and shared conversations around books.
Each purchase also carried a deeper purpose, with 50% of proceeds going towards supporting local TNR efforts for stray cats. A small gesture of care extended beyond the space itself.
For a short part of the afternoon, our space was filled with stories, recommendations, and books that resonated with each person who picked them up. A quiet reminder of how stories, much like art, create connection in unexpected ways.

Last Friday, after wrapping up the workday, we headed to Umm Suqeim Beach.
It was a day built around team building activities, shared moments, and plenty of laughter, giving us space to connect outside of our usual routines. It felt like a chance to pause, reset, and simply breathe together.
Moments like these remind us that how we show up for each other matters just as much as the work itself.

We spent time moving through Déjà vu, a multi-gallery exhibition conceptualised by @alserkalavenue where each space holds its own concept, tone, and visual language.
What stood out most was how distinct each gallery felt, not just in the works presented, but in the way each idea was constructed and experienced within its own environment.
It’s the kind of exhibition that reveals itself gradually as you move through it, where no two rooms feel the same, yet everything feels intentionally connected.
A must-see before it closes on May 8.

Inspired by the Qur’anic verse, “Nūn. By the pen and what they inscribe,” this piece transforms a single letter into a boundless visual language. Repeated within a structured square, each Nūn becomes a mark of creation, a symbol of knowledge continuously unfolding, expanding, and echoing beyond limits.
