Field recordings captured in Rio de Janeiro between February 11–24, 2025. Composed from sounds recorded across the city, with kalimba and caxixi (the only two instruments that I bought in Rio). Edited and produced exclusively on a Roland SP-404MKII.

Rio de Janeiro, February 11–24, 2025.
Fragments lifted, not taken. Air, dust, passing currents.
Voices speaking, chanting, unfastened from their mouths.
They warp, fold, return as something thinner than breath. Aether, or its residue.
Kalimba. Caxixi.
Small constellations trembling in the light. Sparse, deliberate, almost secret.
Everything else: the city, half-erased, still pulsing beneath the surface.
A living, breathing organism of sound, already forgetting its own shape.
Memories disintegrating into dreams.
