Where did you learn your v60 pour?
I used this pouring sequence for over two years when living in Berlin, taught it to all of our students and new staff hires; It is so deeply ingrained into my brain that I could probably do it while blindfolded.
One of the most valuable things I learned while working with coffee is that eliminating as many variables as possible makes life so much easier, even if you fully believe there are better ways to do something.
Recipe:
16 Grams of Ground Coffee (Medium Coarse)
250ml Water @ 94c
32g Bloom
@30s - Pour to 100ml
@50s - Pour to 150ml
@1 :15 - Pour to 200ml
@1 :40 - Pour to 250ml
Remove v60 as soon as you see the water disappear under the coffee bed, which we aim to happen at 2:30. +/- 10s
I would make my grind slightly finer than what I had in the video.
