Still in recovery mode from last weekend's @ruleofthree.bike ! As usual, a brutal, exhausting, long, yet fun day on the bike. Not sure why, but I return and sign up for this every year!?! 🙃 A special thanks @capocycling for the #rad Ro3 team kits!

Bike is prepped and carbs are ready to be consumed!
HUGE shoutout to @capocycling for tomorrow’s race day kit. More on that later!
Soo many race recaps to get caught up on so I figured I start at the very beginning🤣
Rattlesnake gravel grind was a blast. This was my first gravel race and I loved every minute of it. After missing a pretty critical turn 8 miles in, this turned into some solo endurance training. Found a group to ride with until the climb about 60 miles in, and then went solo to the finish. I was surprised how well my body held up in the heat, I’ve never seen so many people using the shadow of a wind turbine to seek shade. I really like gravel racing and think this gravel race will be the first of many to come. Loved racing with my Aegis teammates! 4th place for me, 2nd for Lauren! I was so excited I ran to the podium🤣 My crazy ass always keeps it interesting! Also, shout out to @lollyis_lauren for letting me race on her awesome Ventum GS1
“I like big tires and I cannot lie.” They don’t get any bigger than this, not on gravel bikes anyway. These @envecomposites tires paired with some aero goodness are the way to go at @quickndirtymtb . Thanks @capocycling for making me look fast and feel comfortable.
When I raced Tour of the Gila last year as an amateur, my goal was to come back this year and race it as a pro. I had no idea how I was gonna make it happen but I wanted it so bad. I remember watching the pro women’s crit and being a total fan girl, just being in awe of them. After being accepted onto the Aegis Pro Team in December, I was so stoked I was gonna be able to race Gila this year as a pro. I’m a climber and this race brings the climbs!
The week of the race, I faced several unexpected setbacks. I had days I just wanted to throw my hands up and quit. It just wasn’t going the way I expected it to. But I didn’t and I’m so glad that I persevered. While I didn’t get the personal results I wanted, what we did as a team together was simply magical. It felt great helping the team accomplish our goals. We managed to win everything, sprinter, QOM, U23, GC and team GC classifications. Never in the 39 year history of Tour of the Gila has this been done by one team. I am so grateful to have the support of these amazing girls and all the guys and gal behind the curtains that made this possible. Best team and teammates in the US!! See you next year Tour of the Gila!
Amazing Results for the Aegis + Leaders of Enchantment Team at the Tour of the Gila!

A first in 39 years! No team has ever dominated the race like this.
To say the least, we at Capo are super proud of the teamwork this group has pulled together this spring and continues to build forward into the future!
Have to add the rest of the team who made this possible -

Three weeks later, here’s the honest version of Sea Otter.
I came into this one lacking confidence from this winter. Coming off an MCL sprain, and inconsistent training due to illness and losing my grandpa in March. Not ideal—but I stoked to have made it to the line.
Lined up second row behind Matt Beers and Keegan Swenson with a simple plan: go with the front and see what it actually takes. I chose a faster/lighter setup (45s)… still not sure that was the right call.
The race split early on the first descent—loose, fast, and hard to replicate in training. I hesitated, got gapped, and from there it turned into a long day of small groups, riding solo, and fighting cramps.
I felt timid in the first decent but I’m realizing that at some point it’s less about forcing a result and more about staying in the game. there were a lot of DNFs on the day.
What you really want to know, placing: Was 117th at the first feed and moved up to 110th overall and 30th in the wildcard.
To be honest, it’s not where I want to be, but man am I still stoked to even be where I’m at today!
I want a top 75 in a Grand Prix race, and I’m not there yet. But given the winter and spring I’ve had, just being in the race and moving forward means something.
Also got so hot on lap two I ditched my base layer mid-race (the commentary had some opinions on that one).
Big thanks to everyone supporting me— @instagoatman and @xanderxcl for bottle hand ups, @capocycling (keeping me looking and feeling fly), @peakstatefit (for getting me into a fast, aero, and comfortable position), @dangerous.pretzel for some support getting here and a HUGE shout out to @jrw2550 with @eastbenchcomposites for turning around a cracked frame in under 24 hours and saving my weekend.
On to Unbound.
