Capitol View Arts proudly invites emerging and established visual artists to apply for the 2026 Creative Entrepreneurial Cohort, an intensive professional development program designed to equip painters, sculptors, photographers, mixed-media artists, illustrators, and other visual creatives with the tools needed to build sustainable and thriving artistic careers. Through mentorship, workshops, portfolio development, one-on-one consultations, and collaborative learning experiences with industry professionals, participants will gain practical knowledge in branding, marketing, pricing artwork, intellectual property, financial management, exhibition preparation, and business development while strengthening connections within Austin’s vibrant visual arts community. In partnership with Texas Accountants & Lawyers for the Arts (TALA) and community stakeholders, this transformative initiative is committed to advancing cultural preservation, economic opportunity, and Black creative excellence in the visual arts. Join us from August through November 2026 and become part of a visionary cohort shaping the future of visual art, culture, and creative entrepreneurship in Austin and beyond.
