Last weekend, the Capitol Auto Group Racing Team brought the Rocketeer to Touch-a-Truck in Independence, and it was one for the books. 🚗💨 Excited faces, free ice cream, and more smiles than we could count. 🍦 But the moment that stuck with our team the most? A man who experiences the world entirely through touch join them. With the help of Tony Lones, he was guided into the Rocketeer and climbed in and out like an absolute pro. 🙌 Watching his face light up inside that car nearly brought tears to Rich Bailey’s eyes. When someone accidentally got fuel sprayed on their vehicle at a local gas station, Chauni (Left) stepped in to save the day.✨ Knowing gasoline can damage a car’s paint, she kindly offered for the customer to drive a short distance to Capitol so we could provide a complimentary car wash. Once they arrived, Angie (Right) personally took the vehicle back and washed it herself. That’s why they are this month’s Shining Star winners.
