Then something unexpected happened.
You started messaging me offering your homes.
Not venues.
Not promoters.
Your actual houses.
Backyards. Garages. Cul-de-sacs.
Whole streets saying “come here.”
It stopped feeling like house shows.
It started feeling like BLOCK PARTIES.
No stage. No barrier.
Just me, a guitar, and the people who built this with me.
Mt Druitt. Brisbane. Perth. Hobart. Melbourne. Traralgon. Loxton. Tea Tree Gully.
This exists because you made it exist.
And there are only two left.

thankful for love that surrounds me and leads me into the next chapter of life, back to the drawing board with music but from a place of so much stability - grateful, so very grateful for peace.

Brisbane, that one will stay with me for a long time.
Last night we sat in a living room together. No stage. No barrier. Just people, stories, laughter… and a few tears too.
These house shows have been reminding me why I started writing songs in the first place. Not just to perform them, but to sit with people and hear what they mean to them.
Between songs we talked about life, family, heartbreak, hope… all the things that actually matter. I got to hear your stories too.
That’s the part of music you don’t see from a stage.
Someone told me a song got them through a hard year. A dog slept through half the set.
Real life.
I’m grateful that even while we’re chasing bigger stages around the world this year, I still get to have nights like this at home in Australia.

Hobart… I don’t really have the words.
Tassie just does something to me.
The air feels different. The light hits different. It’s quiet in a way that makes you actually listen.
Last night we played in someone’s home.
No stage. No security. Just a guitar, a couch, kids running around, people shoulder to shoulder singing every word.
I’ve stood on some pretty iconic stages around the world. And I’m grateful for every single one of them.
But sitting in a living room in Hobart, a few metres from you, hearing your stories, signing a little drawing, laughing between songs… that’s the stuff that keeps me grounded.
We’re chasing a big overseas chapter this year.
But I never wanted to disappear from home while doing it.
These house shows are my way of staying close.
