Nothing beats a full colour transformation 🤍
This is the second room I’ve taken from dark blue to a soft, light and airy space — but this one definitely came with a few challenges 👀
As soon as I started sanding, the paint began peeling off the walls like wallpaper 😅 I had to scrape everything right back until it finally stopped lifting, then apply Peel Stop twice just to make sure it was fully sealed and stable before painting. The same thing happened on the window ledge too!
Just goes to show how important the prep work really is — the finish is only ever as good as what’s underneath ✨
To help cover that deep blue, I started with a full base coat before going in with my go-to @caparoluk Indeko Plus, colour matched to F&B Matchstick 🤍 as always I used @caparoluk CapaSilan for the ceiling for a flawless finish.
For the woodwork @caparoluk Haftprimer followed by @caparoluk Capaflow — my first time using it and honestly it was an absolute dream to work with 😍 colour matched to F&B Pointing for a much softer, warmer finish.
