Filmed this back in July. Why did it take me so long to post it?
Well, I hate being vague. I hate not knowing. And when I hate something, I avoid it like my life depends on it. So the thought of editing this video made me sick.
I mean I even ended up isolating myself from my friends. They would ask about this situation and I would try to explain, but it ended up being confusing for them too. So I just gave up.
But at the end of the day, I think it’s important for people to know that it’s okay to not know sometimes. Life can get complicated. There’s not always a clear answer.
So even though a lot has happened since then, I’m only gonna leave you with this. Hope you enjoy not knowing as much as I do ❤️ heehee bye.

wow this is a really vulnerable post. I’ve been wanting to talk about my sexual trauma that turned into sex addiction but that topic is so invasive. this video barely touched the surface of what I’ve been through.
I’ll probably talk about those experiences more in the future, (once I feel like it haha). but for now just know that I couldn’t have gotten through any of it without the creator of the universe holding my hand.

believing in God is like falling in love. at first it’s a feeling. it’s unexplainable. your friends think you’re a crackhead.
then you get to know each other. you’re learning about their story and spending time together.
then comes real life. you go through something difficult. they comfort you. you push them away. they stay by your side despite how toxic you are.
then you fully trust them. you commit for a lifetime. it’s terrifying, you have doubts, but you make a decision that goes far beyond just feelings.
then you grow old together. you think about the moment you fell in love often. you remember all the good things. it’s a difficult road, but it’s so worth it.
all those feelings belong in their respective stages. taken out of order would lead to disaster.
committing to someone for a lifetime after the first date is silly. marrying someone you don’t love just because you want your family to be happy is toxic. people who call themselves “christians” do that with God and then blame the church when it doesn’t go well. yikes.
recognize the stage you’re at with God, then settle into that moment and enjoy the ride. anything other than that is toxic religion. hope this helps ❤️

CUSSING

I can look back on a lot of moments in my life where someone told me the truth and it made me angry lol.
at the end of the day, it’s just about how you want to be perceived. I felt like I had to use cuss words in order to come across as a tough girl who couldn’t be messed with, but now I just AM a tough girl who can’t be messed with.
there’s a reason why big dogs are cute and fluffy and small dogs are loud and annoying. the small dogs have to project in order to be intimidating, but if you try to pull or drag a big dog around, good luck. they’ll just wag their tail and yawn as you struggle.
if you have to fight to change people’s perception of you by altering stuff on the outside, that’s probably because on the inside you’re not actually what you’re trying to portray.

I knew I was ACTUALLY healing from all of my sexual trauma once I didn’t feel the need to talk about it anymore. my heart was no longer abounding with hurt, anger, and self-pity.
looking at your daily conversations is a great way to determine the content of your heart.

the next time you encounter something that makes you go “WOW”, just remember you’re seeing only a quiet whisper of God. He is so much greater that we could ever know.
rest in that. He quiets the storm with His understanding. the ever-expanding universe doesn’t even come close to how vast He is.
humble yourself and know that He’s got you covered. life can be so good.

all I have to do is put God IN FRONT OF ME instead of BEHIND ME.

everything you do you should do out of love. God IS love. it says so in 1 john 4:8.

this is such a hard balance to find. the bible says we’re saved by faith, but faith without works is dead.
so if we focus on the faith/trust/relationship part, works will flow naturally. but if we focus on our works apart from God, we run into wall after wall after wall.
faith first. works second. where you put your focus matters.

the Bible is centered around this concept of humility.
if you want healing, you have to humble yourself to go to a doctor.
if you want to lead, you have to humble yourself to go serve people.
if you want to be first, humble yourself and go last.
if you want to be saved, you have to admit you can’t do it alone and humbly ask God for help.
humility doesn’t mean you’re less. it just means you recognize the difference between a limited human being and an unlimited creator.
what you need is being offered to you, but it takes humility to reach out and grab it.
so sit down, be humble, and let God do what you can’t do.
