The Mont Sainte Anne World Cup has been a thing I’ve dreamed about attending since I was a little kiddo, playing the Seasons and Earthed DVDs on repeat before heading out riding with friends or my Dad. Watching Canadian downhill grow from a young Stevie Smith ripping around the island, becoming the first ever Canadian to win a World Cup race and the World Cup overall, to now watching the new generation of Canadians come up and crush it in both men and women’s fields. Seeing another Canadian lad take home the win and the overall for the first time in over a decade..
