👽 Chaos Good: Neurodivergent Methods for Performance Making 👀 The first workshop in the HERE WE FLOW series is with Daniel Oliver (@canibedaniel ) at Eden Court (@edencourttheatrecinema ), Inverness on 7th March 2025, 11am - 6pm. Here’s some information about Daniel, the workshop, and what to expect! 🟢 Expressions of interest are open NOW! Open to neurodivergent-identifying artists across Scotland with a performance practice. You don’t need to be based in the workshop location - it’s OK if the workshop of your interest is in a different discipline/form to your own 🚀 All HERE WE FLOW workshops are FREE! 💸 There is a limited amount of £50 expense budgets to allocate to individuals who require this to attend - this could be as a contribution to travel or childcare - or similar costs. There is a small budget to support access provision if required 🙂 All workshops are held in person and are facilitated in a relaxed environment ♾️ A relaxed environment encourages participants to do what they need to get the most out of the activity. It accepts and understands that focus and participation look different for different people, and respects that communication, sensory, and social needs vary from person to person 🕸️ See the link in my bio or the Magnetic North website for more information 📸: All images by Julia Bauer, taken at Daniel Oliver’s ‘ChipolotarARTparty’ at BUZZCUT, Glasgow #neurodivergentperformance #neurodivergenttheatre #neurodivergentmusic #neurodivergentdance #neurodiversity #neurodivergentscotland #neurodivergentart #scottishneurodiverseperformancenetwork

Rash-Analogy workshop with Daniel Oliver - online hosted by Making Time Thurs 20th Nov 2025, 7-9pm Book a free ticket on eventbrite (link in the making time bio) If you go to the doctor about a rash but on that day the rash disappears what do you do? Draw it on? Tickle the doctor in just the right way so they know what it felt like? Or create the conditions for the rash to arise again? This is a workshop about different ways of presenting, representing, and re-enacting neurodivergent experience in performance. The session will be held on Zoom. We will email you a link to join plus more detailed information ahead of the event. The workshop will last two hours with a comfort break in the middle. Daniel Oliver will host, with support from Grace and Jo. Please let us know your access requirements when booking, we have some additional budget to support this. Image description: A colour photo of Daniel Oliver (a white man with a brown beard and hair, with checked shirt, jeans and fried-egg socks) standing in front of a plastic sheet, crudely hung and painted green. He is mid-speech, gesturing with his right hand, addressing a crowd of three people (with more presumably out of shot behind the camera) in the doorway to a performance space, with white fabric covering the floor, and silver and gold foil and glow sticks piled up in a corner. Image credit: performance dork may 2023 Disrupt Festival, Cambridge Junction, by Claire Haigh - Daniel Oliver is a dyspraxic performance artist, lecturer, and researcher. He makes raucous, dyspraxic-led performance worlds with mysterious and complex back stories that audiences are drawn into and take roles in. Making Time is run by Grace Denton and Jo Hauge, it is a series of online events for neurodivergent artists, writers or researchers. If you/your work falls slightly outside of these parameters but you feel like it’s for you, then it’s for you! You also do not have to have a diagnosis to join. This event is made possible with funding from @aceagrams 🥳 Check out the event page for booking and more info. Link in our bio!
