Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of UM Sports Hall of Famer Ron Godfrey, who passed away at the age of 87.
Ron had a stellar playing career where he was named an honorable mention All-American his senior year and helped the Hurricanes to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 1960 before coaching the team from 1967-1971.
He was inducted in the UM Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.
