man... what an absolute VIBE @futureforestfestival was. now that I've had some time to process the weekend, I can't help but feel like I've finally found some purpose. prior to this, regardless of where I was I never felt like I could fit in anywhere; particularly with my music, but it extends to other aspects of my life too. but at future forest, I finally felt home and ALIVE. it was a culmination of many things that led up to that moment, from all the beautiful people I met along the way to the music itself. 2025 has been a historical year not just for candy heist, but for Yedu as well. my heart overflows with gratitude for everyone along the way that gave me and my music an opportunity to entertain you. massive thanks to all my good friends who've had my back through everything so far (way too many to mention but y'all know who you are), the beautiful people of future forest and the team behind this magical festival. with that, I finally want to announce the release of my set! i hope you're able to relive the moments from the dancefloor through this set, because that's what I do this for — to create memories and moments that can only be captured by music. it feels so cool to say that I really did find myself in the mushroom stage. Originally from Kerala India and having grown up around the many different countries in the middle east like Dubai and UAE, Candy has find home and happiness hear on the east coast of Canadian soil! 5+ years now into his DJ career, it was actually after some time as a producer making his own records that he found the motivation to start mixing. Drawing inspiration from the huge big room house/festival trap era of edm back in 2012, it was after hearing the first ever EDM track of his life that things finally sparked Having a very dynamic and evolving taste in music, Candy is currently leaning into a love of the 132s with the groove of house and the speed of techno, creating a wild tech-house vibe that will pull you in and get you grooving ! "Being part of the EDM community has been beyond supernatural. Before I came to Canada, my self confidence and my belief in my ability to achieve something with music was pretty low to non existent. The beautiful human beings I met along the way here in Canada showed me why I should believe in myself.
