When you approach the beach & see there’s only one lone dog walker or sea swimmer - or you’re really lucky and it’s completely empty - honestly absolute bliss.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind a bit of atmosphere and people enjoying themselves, but there’s just something about getting such a beautiful place all to yourself.
I guess I better get out for another swim soon before the masses descend for summer in Cornwall 😂

We headed to @masonbrewingco annual birthday festival at the weekend and it was SO much fun. Live country music, beer, street food pop-ups, line dancing, sunshine, and just a lovely atmosphere all round.
If you’ve never been before, Masons is in Threemilestone just outside of Truro and is (in my opinion) the BEST brewery & taproom in Cornwall. They brew all their own craft beer on site, there’s always something fun going on, it’s dog-friendly and Mike & Lisa are just the nicest people ever.
Definitely one to add to your Cornwall food & drink list this summer 🍻

The art of noticing ✨
I realised recently how many videos & photos I have gathering dust in my camera roll of little moments I’ve noticed that have gone unshared.
I saw a reel that said “the amount of good things in your life depends on your ability to notice them”, and as cheesy as it sounds, I kind of agree? Even little moment like these that could easily pass you by - if you stop to look at appreciate them, it can only bring joy.

Couldn’t quite believe how stunning Newquay looked this morning ☀️
The sea was turquoise, flat and crystal clear, and the wild flowers were looking absolutely gorgeous.
Spring in Newquay, or spring in Cornwall generally, really is my favourite time - the beauty of summer without the crowds. Although despite appearances the sea is still pretty icy 😂

Id say Toms always waiting for me to film things and take photos but tbh he’s probably doing it just as much as me.
Also when editing this I realised it’s actually criminal how many “pretty” videos I have of Cornwall on my phone that never see the light of day 😂 promise I’ll share more going forward.

Yesterday was so completely stunning. We set out to make the most of the sunshine and get some content showcasing this area of Cornwall for a client - and Cornwall, as per, you DID NOT disappoint 🌞
I can’t believe I’d never been here before yesterday? I honestly think it could be one of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall. It’s giving Bali.
I’m not sure what it’s like here in summer, but it felt like a hidden gem yesterday when we only saw about five other people. My guess is that it’s a lot more popular when the holidays roll around!
Also managed to get in my first sea swim of the year and my word it was absolutely freezing. I lasted about three minutes 😂 but it still counts.
