Best restaurants in Dallas?! 📌 Share with your fave & Save for later! Which friend are you trying these with?! And don’t forget to tag some of your favorite restaurants that I should try (and why you love them) so I can make my way to check them out! I’ve been in Dallas for a year and a half and have been searching for the best restaurants. I’d been wanting to make a list of my top 10 best things I’ve eaten since being in Dallas, so this is what that is and where I got it from. Some places I speak to just one dish, but for some places I had to choose multiple dishes because everything was so good. People are always asking me for food recommendations. This list is a start. There are soon many other hidden gems and restaurants I’ve found in Dallas, so this list could get really long if I kept going. Anywho, I wanted to shout all these amazing restaurants out because the food was good. And many of them I’ve visited multiple times and the food was consistent. So if you’re looking for the best food or restaurants in Dallas whether black owned or not… hope this helps! One thing about me, I’m a foodie and I love to eat. So I started this series last year to help you eat good, too! It’s safe to say I love Dallas, and I’m learning to fall in love with the food scene though so many of the best places are completely hidden and you have to go searching for them. 😩 Anywho, happy Saturday! 🫶🏽😘 #dallasinfluencer #dallasrestaurants #dallasfoodies #dallascontentcreator #dallasfood

Shocking, right?! 😱 Comment “JOURNEY” for exactly what I did (with a longer video and links to everything)! In case you’re new to my journey… I’ve lost 80 pounds total since I’ve started my weight loss journey. My weight loss journey hasn’t been easy at all. I’ve had to stay consistent in the gym. I’ve had to change my diet. I also had to change my mindset about weight loss and what would help me lose weight. I’m grateful that I’ve had doctors that have educated me on my journey and more than anything I’m grateful that I did what worked for me. My conversations with my doctors led me to follow their recommendations… That journey led me to IVY! If you’re considering something different for weight loss, this might be your sign to start your transformation journey today. I’m answering any questions you have in the DMs! Just send me your questions on IG and I’ll respond there and I may even make a video to help others. Having PCOS ain’t easy, but I’m so glad I chose to try this because it’s the best thing that has worked for my body. Of course, everyone’s body is different but this is just my personal experience and this is NOT professional advice because I’m not a doctor nor trainer. Either way, I hope my weight loss before and after photos and videos have inspired you regardless of what you choose. Anddd if you’re watching this on YouTube you’ll have to get the link from my profile to try Ivy. I look and feel amazing. Which is a big deal! Have questions about my journey? Drop them down below OR slide in my DMs if you want to be more discreet. 🤗 #tryivy #ivyglowup #pcosweightlossjourney #weightlossjouney #weightlosstranformation

I overcame a huge fear and spoke to 1,000+ people in an audience last month! And of course, I’m dropping A few CONTENT tips to add some sparkle ✨ to your timelines! Last month I spoke at @trafficsalesandprofit and here’s how it went! This is your sign to stop overthinking your content and just post it! 🫶🏽😘 I remember praying for a strategy to grow my audience on social media. When God gave it to me, I made sure to share it with others. And that’s what got me on stages across the world. Something about speaking in front of thousands of people scared me, but I pushed past the fear and showed up!! And God reminded me that I’m BUILT FOR THIS. 😭 God is faithful, y’all! Never stop going after your dreams!

One thing I love about Dallas is how much is ALWAYS going on. @blackxtheblock was back in Dallas & I’m glad I went. I love finding out about local vendors and restaurants. I went for the first time last year and really enjoyed that part… finding out about food I didn’t know about. That’s how I found out about one of my favorite Dallas food spots @fusionvibes1 ! This year was no different. I ate good and was around good people! @gussyandpapa24 had some amazing catfish @statis_catering had some very flavorful salmon Alfredo, but everyone kept leaving with buckets of fried seafood. I gotta try it next time! @the_cookie__crave had some of the most creative cookie flavors I’ve seen in a while. I came early and left by 3 so I didn’t stick around for all the fun and dancing. And like a grandma, I’m typing this from the comfort of my couch. I had to get ready for my week and be in bed by 9 so I can start my week off right 😆 So how was Black on the Block? It was cool. I came for th food and I enjoyed it. Did you go?! If not, they have it 2x a year so you still have a chance to catch it again later this year. #dallas #dallasinfluencer #dallasfoodies #thingstodoindallas #dallascontentcreator

Like it 😍 or love it 🤩?! Share this with someone who you’d stay here with! I know it’s really common to want to find the best hotel to stay in when you’re visiting Chicago, but I really think this is the ultimate hack! A couple weeks back I visited my hometown Chicago & here’s where I stayed 😍 (catch my stories to see the full tour)! Where I stayed? 😍 @stayinglevel River North (use my code CANDACE15 to save on your stay) Here’s why I loved it: 🩷 Beautiful views of downtown Chicago 🩷 One of the best locations in River North (very walkable and easy to get around) 🩷 Tons of amenities like a pool, sauna, incredible gym 🩷 Very spacious suites 🩷 Balcony with views better than most Chicago hotels 🩷 Arcade room, meeting rooms & family play room 🩷 Stunning kitchen & in-unit laundry Staying here felt like staying at a luxury hotel at an accessible price. Not only do you get access to a 24/7 concierge, everybody who stays in the property goes through an extensive background check so you know you’re safe! If you’re looking for where to stay when you experience Summertime Chi whether you’re coming to enjoy the beaches, the best restaurants, or yacht week… Level River North may be exactly what you’re looking for! Not in Chicago? Level has hotels & furnished suites in… 🩷 Dallas 🩷 Los Angeles 🩷 Long Beach 🩷 Vancouver 🩷 Seattle This is very much so a best kept secret that I refuse to gate keep! Would you stay here?! #chicago #downtownchicago #dallasinfluencer #thingstodochicago #choosechicago

Am I crazy for this? Would you do something like this?! Honestly moving to Mexico in 2021 was one of the BEST decisions I could have EVER made. My life and career at the time made room for it. I coached my clients online and I made content sharing my journey. And honestly, I know I grew a lot of my community during that time because people were inspired by me moving to Mexico as a black woman solo. Do y’all remember that era for me? I adore traveling. I adore speaking Spanish. And I never knew just how much I needed a solo trip that lasted several months. Some days I wish I stayed longer, but that trip will always and forever be one of the best decisions I made as a single woman in her 30s. This is your sign to live your life on your terms and do your best with the time and resources God has given you. Now I wanna know… would you do something like this? Do you enjoy solo travel? What questions do you have? I can’t wait to share more of this journey! #solotravels #blackandabroad #blacktravelfeed #solodate #singlelife

Would you wear this?! 😍 It comes in many colors! Comment VACAY & I’ll send you this link to my favorite summer skirt & a few of my vacation favorites! I’m genuinely obsessed with this skirt. I wore it over the weekend and the compliments never stopped. All day long compliments. And I felt amazing in it. I can’t wait to wear the one I have in brown & I probably need to snag the brown one. I ordered a size small and it fits perfectly for me in the blue and cream one. But for some reason, the brown one is a little more snug than the others so I would size up if you order brown. This skirt is sooo cute! They also have a longer version! #summeroutfits #summeroutfitideas #summerfashion #swimcoverup #dallasinfluencer
