So many hair ties found, so many miles covered and many places seen throughout this tumultuous year. If only you knew! 2019-24 I spent running. So many people came into my life under the guise of friendship, companionship, romance and “opportunities” but they were really distractions. So insecure and damaged within themselves, they aimed to destroy me because I was kind enough and really, naive enough to take them in. To be real, I believe I confronted demonic energies that had been chasing me my whole life— they just had different names and different faces each time. And they tried and tried but finally left when they realized they could not get me. All I did was stay true to myself. (Oh and a billion self help books, therapy, prayer and processing my thoughts with my friends who do love me) That’s all it takes. demons FLEE when you stand in your truth. What a beautiful but also painful life lesson I’ve learned. I’m thankful because I found my strength through these trials and it has brought a resounding clarity and PEACE into my life. THANK GOD. No person and no thing will stand in the way of who I am meant to be and what I am meant to do, oh but did they try!!
