Can Baran (b. 1998) is a filmmaker based in Brussels whose work has been recognized at international film festivals across Europe. His films mostly explore everyday life and contemporary human relationships through an intimate and observational style. After graduating from Bilkent University Department of Communication and Design with his short film Apartman Boşluğu (2023), he is now pursuing a master’s degree in film at LUCA School of Arts while working on his latest short fiction film, Les Pavés (2026).
