Just wrapped up the Georgia Department of Transportation @gadeptoftrans Tour of Clayton County Projects with @claytoncountyga and @martatransit and I’m truly excited about what’s ahead. From safer streets, to stronger connectivity, to more walkable communities… this is the kind of infrastructure that helps move our community forward and enhances the overall quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
One thing I’m especially excited about are the Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons coming to Jonesboro on Tara Blvd. They are almost ready. Can’t wait to cross those streets with the you all soon. Progress is happening right in front of us. Stay tuned. 🚸
