CNA CEO and President John Gorman spoke to Business View Magazine about Canada’s energy sector and nuclear energy’s role in that. “Historically, misinformation, stigma, and fear around nuclear have created a complex history and narrative that, until recently, was difficult to counter. However, climate change has brought nuclear back into the conversation as the public and stakeholders worldwide become better attuned to the climate crisis and the need to decarbonize quickly. People are actively looking to understand their options, and that has provided an opportunity for the nuclear industry to engage in the discussion factually and talk about the positive story around nuclear.” Link in bio.

Speaking at a press conference in Montreal, 🇨🇦PM @justinpjtrudeau says, "Canada can & will position itself to be a key supplier of energy to the world in a net-zero economy..that means investments in a range of solutions from renewables to nuclear" A nuclear energy source has a lower carbon footprint than other energy sources and is as safe as renewable energy. Nuclear energy is a critical component of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050. 🇨🇦⚛️ Video Ctsy: CPAC #nuclearfornetzero
