The UK-Canada Nuclear Mission brought together industry experts and officials to deepen collaboration, strengthen supply chains and build a skilled workforce to achieve the UK and Canada’s shared ambition of advancing nuclear technology. 🌐⚡️
Here are some highlights from our team and delegates following visits to three of the UK’s most advanced nuclear facilities and the Canada-UK Nuclear Day hosted by the @canadaukchamber .

Last two weeks at #COP27 have been a tremendous success for the nuclear industry! It's clear that nuclear has a key role to play in the just transition. Some thoughts from our CEO and President John Gorman as we sign off from #COP27
Freedom today is a result of others' selfless acts.
During this time of remembrance, we pay tribute to the fallen and honour those who served.

#COP27 is moving to its second week of programming. World leaders are debating the best possible ways to deal with the impact of climate change.
At this moment in time, it is crucial to understand
⚛️ Nuclear is part of the solution
⚛️ Net-zero needs nuclear's support
⚛️ Nuclear must be included in the clean energy mix
Team CNA representing the Canadian Nuclear Industry at #COP27
Together IS better
⚛️For nuclear energy to be part of the clean energy transition
⚛️For Canada to reach its net-zero goals
⚛️For future generations to inherit a healthy planet
CNA CEO and President John Gorman spoke to Business View Magazine about Canada’s energy sector and nuclear energy’s role in that.
“Historically, misinformation, stigma, and fear around nuclear have created a complex history and narrative that, until recently, was difficult to counter. However, climate change has brought nuclear back into the conversation as the public and stakeholders worldwide become better attuned to the climate crisis and the need to decarbonize quickly. People are actively looking to understand their options, and that has provided an opportunity for the nuclear industry to engage in the discussion factually and talk about the positive story around nuclear.”

It's our 62nd birthday!
For 62 years, we've brought awareness to the nuclear industry and helped our partners reach new heights. Continuing to work with our partners is something we look forward to for a long time to come.
Speaking at a press conference in Montreal, 🇨🇦PM @justinpjtrudeau says, "Canada can & will position itself to be a key supplier of energy to the world in a net-zero economy..that means investments in a range of solutions from renewables to nuclear"
A nuclear energy source has a lower carbon footprint than other energy sources and is as safe as renewable energy. Nuclear energy is a critical component of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050. 🇨🇦⚛️
