Meet the teachers for Camp Zipzap Toronto!
ALFRED CHOW is an improv teacher, producer, and performer. He has performed in over 20 cities worldwide across Australia, Europe, Asia, and North America. When in Toronto he produces and performs in the shows “All of us are Asian” and "All of us are Naughty". In 2023 his duo "Mahjong Mafia '' outlasted 90 other teams to win "The World's Biggest Improv Tournament".
Alfred is a teacher at “The Assembly” and "Bad Dog Theatre", has led corporate improv workshops, and has taught workshops internationally.

NICOLE PASSMORE is an improviser, sketch comedian, and actor who performs regularly with Bad Dog Theatre and Comedy Bar Pro, and is an alumni of the Second City Touring Company and The Sketchersons. Nicole has been featured in multiple festivals across North America- including JFL, Improvaganza, VIIF, Stumptown Improv Festival, and the Detroit Improv Festival. Nicole's film and TV credits include Umbrella Academy (Netflix), Pop Papers (YTV), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), and Doomlands (Roku).

LACY ALANA has been playing, performing, and teaching improv for over 15 years—and still thinks it’s magic. She’s led improv workshops in circus tents, corporate boardrooms, theatres, classrooms, and everywhere in between. Her facilitation style blends deep nerdiness with big-hearted fun, and she’s all about creating spaces where people feel brave enough to take risks and lean in.

KRISTINA GUEVARRA is a queer filipinx improviser, producer and comedian based in Montreal, QC. Originally from Winnipeg, she’s spent the last 12 years honing her craft through various comedy festivals, Fringe festivals and improv festivals through Canada. You may have seen her at OFF-JFL, Ladyfest and Montreal Sketchfest: Best of Fest 2025. You can find her at Théâtre Saint Catherine regularly performing and producing with Montreal Sketchfest and Sunday Night Improv!
Meet our 2025 Camp Zipzap Instructors!
PETER ROGERS began improvising at the Hideout Theatre in 2000. Since then, he's directed narrative longform shows, written extensively about improv production, and taught workshops in Canada, the US, and the UK. He’s now a facilitator at Ottawa’s Improv Embassy and Artistic Director of Wayward Improvised Theatre. He likes nothing better than making improvisors feel inspired and at ease, whether they're on stage or in the booth. His current hobbies include languages, ttRPGs, math, and playing lots of instruments poorly.
