We are so excited to have Daniel, Megan, and Kealey back at Camp Red Cedar for another summer, and we cannot wait to see the impact they have and the memories they help create.
Daniel is returning as our Field Supervisor! His Camp Red Cedar journey started years ago as a camper, and since then he has worn many hats including barn hand and event host. This will be his 5th summer in our camp program, and he is passionate about supporting both campers and staff while continuing to live out our mantra: Explore, Play, Grow. Daniel is a student at Indiana Tech studying Recreational Therapy with a minor in Psychology. Fun fact: Daniel will be getting married at Camp Red Cedar at the end of the summer. 🎉
Megan is back as our Program Assistant for her third summer! Her favorite part of camp is meeting so many incredible people, and she is excited to create even more unforgettable memories with campers and staff. Megan is studying Social Work at IU Fort Wayne. Fun fact: her favorite animal is a penguin 🐧
Kealey is returning as our Activities Coordinator for her third summer! She loves the connections she builds with campers and their families and is looking forward to continuing those relationships, as well as making new ones with her fellow camp counselors. She also loves getting to see our camp cat, Olive, every day. Kealey studies Art and Psychology at Purdue Fort Wayne and plans to pursue Art Therapy. Fun fact: she can quote the The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie from start to finish. 🎨

Do you live a bit too far for weekly recreational therapy visits? Or are you currently waiting for a camp opening? We now have "As Available"
openings for 1:1 Recreational Therapy sessions.
This allows your loved one to come out to Camp Red Cedar for a longer 3–5 hour, as therapist openings occur. It’s a great way to enjoy the benefits of recreational therapy without the pressure of weekly sessions.
