Camp Jitterbug is coming home to Reverie Ballroom this Memorial Day Weekend!
From May 22-25, dancers from around the world will gather in Seattle to celebrate Black vernacular Jazz and Swing dance through workshops, live music, lectures, competitions, performances, and unforgettable social dancing. We’re thrilled to welcome Camp Jitterbug back to Reverie’s newly renovated ballrooms (The Grand and The Emerald) for a weekend full of music, movement, and community.
This year is especially meaningful as Camp Jitterbug celebrates the 100th anniversary of the legendary Savoy Ballroom with special guests Sugar Sullivan and Barbara Billups, plus Savoy-inspired classes, performances, lectures, and live music led by Chester Whitmore on Sunday, May 24th.
Whether you’re a longtime swing dancer or discovering Jazz dance for the first time, this is one of the most joyful weekends of the year... and we can’t wait to share it with you.
