Skate Coastal x @campfury13 : A Partnership Rooted in Heart! Skate Coastal is headed to the Philippines to teach the RADDEST group of kids how to skate (& we are SO thankful for our community sponsors who have already donated merch to stoke these kids out)! We’ll be offering completely FREE on-site skate & and Art Coastal classes for the children of Camp Fury13 in Lubayat Real Quezon, in the Philippines. The backstory- What began as a simple dream by Joe Salazar and his wife Dazzle has grown into something far greater: a place where kids, many facing difficult realities, find freedom, purpose, and belonging through skateboarding.
We were moved by their story—children showing up barefoot, patiently waiting their turn to learn how to skateboard in the skate park at Camp Fury13, returning day after day with quiet determination and joy. This is more than skateboarding; it’s an escape, a lifeline, a spark of possibility.
Through this partnership, we hope to give them not just skills, but a memory they’ll carry forever—a moment of being seen, supported, and celebrated. Alongside skating, Art Coastal will create space for expression, creativity, and healing in ways words sometimes can’t reach.
We also carry with us the spirit of the U.S. skate community. If any brands or individuals feel moved to donate—boards, gear, or even stickers—you will become part of this story too. Even a stack of stickers makes such a meaningful, unforgettable experience for kids who may not otherwise have the chance.
