Panel Install Day 6 - Garage and close-in ☂️
On Friday we closed in the Waikanae House envelope with the assembly of the final garage roof panels. Now only a few custom windows and the garage doors to install onsite.
With the envelope now weathertight and lockable, work can begin inside with no weather delays. On the exterior, roofers and bricklayers are due in the coming weeks.

Thursday saw the install of the loft floor beams above the garage and the roof panels over the kitchen and living areas.

Panel Install Day 3 - Waikanae House
It was a push to get the roof on last Friday before the storm that hit Wellington over the weekend and into the start of this week.
The build was split into 3 stages for assembly within weather windows.
Friday saw Stage 1 of the plan executed to perfection, wrapped up for the weather and ready to go again once the sun came out.
